One extended journey around the Australian Coast was terminated following the tragic passing of an elderly woman who was abandoned by the cruise liner on a remote island.

Suzanne Rees had been walking on Lizard Island with other travelers from the cruise ship, but separated from the excursion for a pause. The ship sailed away leaving her and came back after some time after the crew realised the lady was unaccounted for.

A large-scale hunt found her remains the next day.
